Boston is and interesting city. It's grown around historical buildings and sites to be a modern busy city. The public transportation has to be good because there is little to no place to park. Good thing Johnny was driving, since many streets were one way and none of them were straight. You end up curving around and missing where you want to get to. One night we could see our hotel half a block away, but we drove another mile to get to it. We walked to most sites or caught the subway. Friday we went on a tour of Finway Park. It seams like everybody is a Redsox fan. The park is pretty but I would not be able to sit in the original seat sections behind home plate, they are so small my knees will not fit.
We played tourists and went to Paul Reveres house and grave. Saturday we got a car and drove to Glouscher. The little towns we drove thru were quite interesting. We got to visit Harvard and MIT. There are so many colleges here I would hate to be here when school starts with all the students arriving at once. Sunday we took a nice drive out to see Concord and Lexington, were the revolution started. Waldens Pond is just down the road an will look better when the trees finally bloom. It is still cold up there right now. When bicyclists rode by in 38 degree weather I didn't miss riding at all, they looked real cold.
The weekend was a great trip with and old friend to a place I've wanted to see. I hope to have more trips to see friends a neat places.
