Katie comes home

We had a wonderful time this past week, because my niece came home for a week from France. She is helping to start a church in Marseille, France. She has been gone for a year and a half. We met her at the airport and she has had friends and family around her all week. Katie has so many friends just because she lights up a room when she walks in. Always joyful and loving, Katie is the kind of person everyone wants to be around. She told me of all the places she has visited in Europe on her journey. I think she has developed a case of wonderlust. It may be hard for her to go back to Lufkin and work at Cheddar's, after seeing the piramids and St. Peter's in Rome. Whatever she does I know she will be happy and bring joy to all those around her. Of course I was hoping she would develope a better appreciation of food in France than Chili's and Chick fil-a.

  1. It was wonderful to have Katie home for a week. She has you, Uncle Bob, to thank for paying her way - and first class no less! Thanks for making her visit possible!!

  2. How come every time a post a comment it says "Mom said"? I am not your mom - just your older, wiser sister!
